Holiday Gift Guide for the Travel Enthusiast

It is just about the most wonderful time of the year and what better way to ring in the holiday season than with a travel-themed gift guide. Whether you yourself need ideas for the loved ones that are asking, or you have a travel enthusiast in your life to buy for - here are my must-have travel-related gifts for the 2023 holiday season. Just in time for Black Friday!
1. Carry-on luggage (~$300): An easy-roll TSA-approved carry-on suitcase is an absolute must-have for the frequent traveller and my favorites are Away, Monos, Roam (splurge). Roam allows you to completely customize the colors of your bag, even down to the zipper! Some newer brands to hit the market include July and Antler which I have not tried but I'm looking forward to exploring!
2. Globe paper weight ($50): What better gift for the avid adventurer than a Smithsonian globe paperweight they can use at work to remind them of their upcoming travels. Color options include blue, white, and black.
3. Lululemon fanny pack ($38): I do not travel without my Lululemon Everywhere belt bag. It's perfect at the airport to keep my passport/ID and phone in for easy access when going through security. It's perfect for working out to keep my phone and keys in. It's perfect for training your new puppy on a leash. It's perfect for gallivanting around a new city without getting pickpocketed. TONS of colors and various sizes depending on your needs!
4. Hotel-themed cocktail book ($23): I am a sucker for coffee table books and my husband and I collect cocktail themed books. I came across this one in a boutique and learned they have an entire series. I live for an iconic hotel so I had to have this 50 Cocktail Recipes from the World's Most Iconic Hotels.
5. LainSnow swimsuit ($100): My favorite one-piece but they also have bikinis, cover-ups, and now ski base layers! Flattering on all body styles with matching styles for the entire family!
6. Trtl travel pillow ($50): A travel pillow is essential for a red-eye flight and finally, a travel pillow with proper head and neck support! It takes some getting used to but you will fall in love.
7. Cadence capsules (~$76): Another thing I won't travel without! These leak-proof capsules are a sustainable option for traveling with the appropriate-sized toiletries. Also now available at The Container Store!
8. Noise-cancelling headphones ($429): Whether you're in the airport, on the plane, on a train, or in a coffee, shop noise-cancelling headphones are essential. My pick: Bose QC Ultra Headphones!
9. Weekender/tote ($113): I love the Lo & Sons Catalina Deluxe! All the pockets you could need and it slides over your luggage handle to stay in place. This is ideal for a night or two by itself or in addition to a suitcase for a longer trip!
10. Spill-proof water bottle ($25): I stand by this: Owala can't be beat. You can tip it up and drink it or sip through the built-in straw. It locks so you can throw it in your bag and don't need to manage carrying it with everything else you've got in your hands and under your arms!
11. Portable white noise machine ($35): If the quiet of hotel room is unsettling, or you just can't sleep without noise, the Hatch Rest Go will fix that! It has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 15 hours and has several soothing sounds.
12. Kindle Paperwhite ($140-$190): If you're like me, you end up bringing several books on vacation because you'll know you'll finally have time to read! The Kindle Paperwhite saves SO much space. You can also make a last minute decision on the book you want to read instead of having to plan ahead.
13. Sunglasses ($300): Krewe sunglasses seriously look good on every face and the styles and patterns are SO fun. You get one free replacement pair with every purchase and Krewe will repair or replace any pair following that FOR life (for a standard fee).
14. Hotel lobby candle ($56): Bring that hotel smell home with you with a Hotel Lobby Candle.
15. Packing cubes ($68): Whether you're opting for regular or compressible packing cubes, Calpak has you covered for a smoother packing experience. Away and Monos also have great options as well as Amazon!
1. Passport case ($50): So many options for a cute passport cover/case but I love the idea of a monogrammed (vegan) leather cover in cute colors from Mark & Graham.
2. Eye patches ($55-65): There are lots of options, but my preference is Peter Thomas Roth. I like both the Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-gel and the Power-C Brightening Hydra-gel eye patches. You can also get cream to match. Available on Amazon and Revolve as well as the Peter Thomas Roth website.
3. Apple Airtag ($30): I highly recommend keeping an Apple Airtag in your luggage, your purse, your fanny pack, and anything else you'd want to locate immediately if it went missing. While it won't guarantee you'll get it back, it can gives you a better chance of finding it.
4. Refillable hand sanitizer ($9): Good for the hands and the planet, Noshinku Refillable Pocket Hand Sanitizer is my go-to. Natural fragrances and clean ingredients make this the perfect addition to your carry-on toiletries.
5. Apple Airpods ($200): The wireless earbuds you know and love have been reinvented with personalized spatial audio and faster charging capabilities and longer battery life.
6. Poo-pourri spray ($5): This before-you-go toilet spray will ensure all of your airplane/hotel bathrooms stay smelling fresh when nature calls. Availabile in multiple scents in travel sizes and full-sizes!
7. Hydrating face cream ($49): Of course there are a number of options, but my favorite is Summer Fridays Jet Lat Mask Masque. It is so hydrating and is fragrance-free & non-comedogenic.
8. Silk sleep mask, pillowcase, & scrunchie ($95): Take care of your hair & skin AND sleep in darkness on a plane with a Blissy Dreams Set. Once you go silk, you'll never go back!
9: Dry shampoo ($30): An absolute must after a long flight and especially after a red-eye! My favorites are Bumble & Bumble Prêt-à-powder Très Invisible as well as Amika Perk Up. They both smell amazing are available in travel sizes!
10. Bombas socks ($13): These thick socks are THE most comfortable. I keep a pair in my travel bag and will put them on during flights to keep my feet cozy. They also have dress socks in men's sizes!
11: Portable phone charger compatible with IPhone 15 ($50): I recently purchased the IPhone 15 Pro and realized after a long day out when my battery was about to die my existing portable charger did not have a USB-C compatible with my new phone. Cue the Clutch Pro with USB-C. It charges quickly, will magentize to your phone, and is so thin! Be sure to check compatibility with your device prior to purchasing!
12: Quip toothbrush ($22): A sleek battery-powered electric toothbrush available is several colors that will fit easily in any travel bag! You can purchase brush head refills on the website.
